In fact, he also mentioned the president\u2019s youngest son, Barron, and that with a bold comment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During Takaichi\u2019s state visit to the U.S., which was her first since becoming Japan\u2019s first female prime minister in October 2025, she was invited to the White House by the Trump administration for dinner.<\/p>\n<p>Besides talking business and whatnot, the Japanese prime minister also made sure to put on her charm when it came to Trump\u2019s family. Barron Trump is celebrating his 20th birthday on March 20, and Takaichi decided to mention it.<\/p>\n<p>Through a translator, she remarked: \u201cTomorrow is the birthday of your son, Mr. Barron Trump, and I know he has grown up so much into a very tall, good-looking gentleman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201cAs I see you, Donald, it is very clear where he got it from, of course, from his parents. There\u2019s no doubt about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-japan-s-prime-minister-makes-bold-comment-about-barron\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Japan\u2019s prime minister makes bold comment about Barron<\/h2>\n<p>Trump appeared pleased by the comment, smiling, thanking her, and lightly patting her on the back.<\/p>\n<p>That Barron Trump is very tall has caught everyone\u2019s eye. He is towering over every member of his family, and Donald himself appears to have an idea why his youngest son has grown so tall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s how he got so tall; he only ate her food. I said you\u2019re gonna be a basketball player. He said, well, \u2018I like soccer, Dad,\u2019 actually. I thought\u2026at your height, I like basketball better, but you can\u2019t talk them into everything,\u201d Trump said in November 2024, crediting Melania Trump\u2019s late mother, Amalia Knavs.<\/p>\n<p>Takaichi\u2019s remarks followed an earlier interaction between the two leaders, where a lip reader suggested Trump had referred to\u00a0Barron\u00a0by saying, \u201cHe is big, so big, up here,\u201d while gesturing to indicate height.
